If you’re seeking an adventure that immerses you in a unique environment and tests your endurance in meaningful ways, the Gobi International Peace Tour offers exactly that. From May 26th to May 31st, 2025, join a global community as we traverse 108 kilometers across the Gobi Desert in China, following the ancient Silk Road.
This four-day journey is designed for runners, walkers, or a mix of both—no matter your pace, it’s an opportunity to push yourself in one of the world's most iconic landscapes. Our experienced team will ensure that food, lodging, and safety are all taken care of, so you can focus on the experience and the challenge ahead. Location: Gobi Desert Aksay Blade Camp
Distance: 108 kilometers
Teams can choose to be either 'competitive' or 'social' in their purpose. Competitive teams from each country will compete to traverse the course in the fastest time, while social teams will focus only on completing the difficult journey as best they can.
As a place of historical mediation, reflection, and trade, the Gobi's Silk Road is the perfect location for an international peace walk experience. In addition to experiencing nature, participants will also enjoy festivities and events at base camp each night to further promote cultural exchange and enhance the shared experience.
Participants will also have the opportunity each day to support the local Gobi economy by transacting in the Peace Market established at base camp. This market will provide a wide array of services, experiences, and authentic gifts and materials.

EVENT CALENDAR 2025
Day 1: Welcome to Dunhuang, China
Our staff will greet the arriving participants at Dunhuang Airport. There will be performers in Dunhuang costumes for photo opportunities. Afterwards, participants will take a tour bus to the hotel for check-in. After some rest, participants will enjoy an opening ceremony dinner and team-building activities.

Step 1: Registration
To reserve your spot and receive early assistance with travel logistics, fill out the pre-registration form below. Registering as early as possible helps to avoid incurring increased flight prices.

Step 2: Payment
After filling out the registration form, you will be directed to our secure payment portal. At checkout, you will have the option to choose the ticket package that fits your desires for your experience. Note that if you are registering after March 1, 2025, you will be charged a late fee of $200 USD.

Step 3: Booking Flights
After registering and paying your deposit, you will receive a confirmation email with further instructions and recommendations for booking your flights.
